**The Firm**
Nevile & Co. Commercial Lawyers are a well-established boutique commercial law firm located in the ‘Paris’ end of Collins Street.
We are currently looking to hire a full-time practice manager. The firm currently consists of eight lawyers, including two Partners and two Consultants, and a number of support staff. We handle a wide variety of matters including commercial law, corporate law, litigation, property, migration, family law, and probate. Our clients are culturally diverse, and many have been with the firm for numerous years.
**The Role**
As a full-time practice manager, your key responsibilities will be:
1.Banking and management of trust and office accounts, including;
- Accounts receivable/payable
- Balance sheets
- BAS
- Payroll
- PAYG
- Bank Reconciliations
- Budgeting
- Cash flows
- Profit & Loss Statements
2. Reporting to external accountant and auditor;
3. Production of reports to Directors on a scheduled basis;
4. Communication with external accountants and auditors where required;
5. Production of invoices and following up on outstanding debtors;
6. HR duties including advertising for and interviewing new staff; and
7. Point of contact for LIV, VLSBC, IT provider, owners corporation, suppliers, and building management.
**Essential Requirements**
- A thorough understanding of the running of a law practice;
- A thorough understanding of complying with relevant statutory requirements (LSB, LIV, LPLC, etc.);
- Experience in trust accounting, preferably having completed an LSB Trust Accounting course; and
- Strong LEAP and MYOB skills.

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
- MYOB: 1 year (required)
