
Housekeeping Office Coordinator

Elements of Byron is an award-winning Beach front resort nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise in Byron Bay. We have an opportunity for an experienced office coordinator to join our team, ideally you may have worked in hospitality and in housekeeping, but we are happy to train the right person if you are organised, can juggle multiple tasks, a busy phone and conflicting priorities.
Reporting to the Room Division and Assistant Housekeeping Managers this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping office. This involves ensuring that the teams operate efficiently, meet performance goals, timelines and standards. You will effectively communicate with with other departments to ensure that information and requests are actioned promptly.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Daily room Allocations
- Oversee the day to day operation of the Housekeeping Office
- Reporting and managing maintenance requests
- Handing any guest requests and complaints
- Assist with the implementation of SOP's
- Room checks to ensure standards are met prior to release
- Hands on role, complete cleaning tasks
- Allocation of daily tasks and completion of administrative duties and reports
- Handling and resolving guest complaints
- Assist with rostering
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Coordinator within a Resort/Hotel environment would be highly regarded
- Full availability including weekends and public holidays
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi task
- Self motivated with strong initiative
- Previous experience working in a busy office environment supporting a large team
- Ability and confidence to train and motivate a large team, up to 80 employees
- Experience using hotel systems such as Opera/Hirum/Optii would be highly regarded
- Experience with resort buggies - Preferred
- Current drivers licence

**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $58,500.00 per year
