About the role
As our Communications Coordinator, you’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to craft and deliver engaging content across multiple channels. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you’ll develop strategic communications, support marketing initiatives, and drive engagement with our members, ensuring clear and effective messaging across all platforms.
**As our Communications Coordinator you’ll also**:
develop a variety of communications, including eDMs, newsletters, organisational updates, collateral, event calendars, web content, key message documents, social media content, and briefings
collaborate with stakeholders to create and distribute engaging content across RACGP-owned channels, including the website and social media
support the media team as needed, including handling media inquiries
assist in the planning and execution of marketing and communication activities to enhance engagement.
Skills & Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and in plain English
Strong grasp of marketing, communication, and brand management principles, including experience with communication planning and creative development processes
Outstanding organisational and planning abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and performing well under pressure
Experience and understanding of the RTO sector and GP Training, with a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communication
