**About this role**:
Exciting opportunity to join this growing Sydney architecture studio on a range of Housing projects. They are looking for a design architect/lead to work closely with the design and documentation teams on multi-residential projects.

**Key responsibilities -**
- Work on early design stages including concept and design development
- Collaborate with wider team, responsible for mentoring junior team
- Contribute to documentation & coordination of drawing packages
- Lead key documentation packages and manage Archicad models
- Undertake package reviews
- Work closely with external consultants, liaise with clients and run your own team
- Guide the production of high-quality working drawings, detailing, and delivery
- Work collaboratively with our senior practice leaders

**Skills and experience -**
- Relevant Architectural qualifications
- Operating at a level equal to 6+ years postgraduate experience in coordinating complex multi-residential or mixed-use projects
- Architecture and Design Practitioner Registration nice to have but not essential
- Experience in early project stages including feasibility studies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve
- ArchiCAD essential
- Demonstrate design skills with portfolio of previous project experience on similar projects
- Work autonomously with confidence leading a team
- Demonstrated understanding of the planning and approval process - BCA, DDA
- Sound understanding of the DA process and SEPP 65 / ADG / NCC
- Experience in high rise developments, with focus multi-unit residential
- Excellent eye for detail and strong problem-solving
- Strong commitment to maintain professional development
