The Enterprise Architecture Chapter Lead, for Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT) and Perpetual Digital (Digital) will be responsible for leading, designing and implementing the technology architecture strategy, governance and roadmaps to enable the PCT and Digital business strategies to be met. Digital is a leading SaaS platform provider to the banking and wealth management markets.

About the role

As Enterprise Architecture Chapter Lead at Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT) and Perpetual Digital (Digital), you will:
- Defines PCT and Digital IT strategy to enable the organisation’s strategic intent.- Custodian of enterprise level principles, standards, and guidelines.- Aligns a cohesive framework for the design and realisation of the organisation’s operating model, business processes, information domain, and enterprise digital ecosystem.- Baselines the current state, defines an intent driven target state, establishes roadmaps, investment portfolios to inform the transition.- Oversees architecture and design governance to maintain the integrity, relevancy and currency of the target state.- Evaluate emerging technology research, opportunities and incubation.- Competitor and vendor analysis.- Strategic partnership management.- Proactive engagement with business stakeholders and continuous alignment of business strategy to technology roadmap to ensure solutions outcomes are aligned and deliver business value.- Standardisation of solution design and selection criteria.- Visibility of aggregated IT risk generated by design deltas.- Qualification and prioritisation of IT investment and funding allocations.- Containment of technical diversity, complexity and associated cost.- Progressive reduction of technical and security debt.- Minimisation of regrettable IT spend or cost avoidance.- Manage artefacts through governance and delivery: Ensure that solution artefacts follow the appropriate architecture governance processes.- Collaborate with other business units such as Group Technology and Enterprise Architecture, compliance and Cyber.

About you- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or 10+ years of relevant industry experience.- 5 to 7 years of solid and demonstrable experience on medium to large-scale, complex financial services technologies in an enterprise architecture capacity- Professional certifications in Azure Cloud (Azure Solutions Architect) and/or TOGAF-
- Experience with a variety of database management systems (SQL, NOSQL), data storage patterns, eventual consistency, data analytics, and reporting- Experience in architecting and implementing data warehousing, data engineering and data processing platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake- Hands-on experience with microservices, modern web development frameworks (e.g Angular,.Net, etc), and B2B data pipelines/streaming- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically serverless, App Service, API Management, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL DB, T-SQL and, Azure AD.- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, identity and access management and system integration- Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes- Experience in Agile methodologies, ITIL and DevOps practices and ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Strong technical team leadership, mentorship and collaboration based on a hands-on approach to design and manage technical work.-
- Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships across the organisation, product, and engineering.
