**Warehousing and Logistics Manager**

Based in Pakenham, in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Dollar Sweets has been manufacturing confectionery in Australia for more than 75 years and is well known for its range of on-trend baking and cake decorating products that bring parties to life.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our busy Team.

**About the Role**

Reporting to General Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for managing all of the day-to-day logistics of despatching and receiving goods and inventory control; supported by our Warehouse and Supply Chain Teams.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of all orders, with a focus on meeting customer DIFOT targets
- Manage all freight, customs and clearance requirements associated with importing and exporting goods
- Manage inventory tracking system to accurately record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels
- Recruit, manage and develop warehouse staff and allocate day to day tasks
- Maintain strong business relationships with our suppliers and customers
- Manage stocktakes and stock rotation best practices
- Provide regular reports on inventory levels and delivery KPIs
- Maintain high standards of workplace OH&S policies and procedures at all times
- Monitor and report on warehouse costs to ensure they are in line with budgets
- Develop and manage all warehousing and logistics systems and processes with a focus on continuous improvement
- Work with our Managing Director and GM of Operations on a range of operational improvement projects

**About You**

Skills required include:

- Understanding of warehouse and transport management systems
- Advanced understanding of inventory control
- Experience with MS Office
- Forklift licence preferred
- Ability to devise, review and modify operational business processes, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of local and international freight forwarder requirements
- A solid understanding of the requirement for safe handling, storage and transportation of goods
- Ability to coordinate, conduct and reconcile cyclical and major stocktakes
- Proven experience in driving efficiencies and continuous improvement

**Salary**: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
