**About the Role**
As a Trade Planning Promotions Specialist, you’re responsible for leading the end to end promotional planning rhythm, while working in close partnership with the Category Teams, Marketing and Supply Chain teams. You will build and manage successful stakeholder relationships and have an intimate understanding of competitor brands, consumer & shopper trends, along with customer focused promotional strategies that drive sustainable growth. You’ll be required to work across a number of different category teams with different strategies, goals and ways of working.
**Reporting to the Trade Planning Manager, you will**:
- Plan and execute promotions that deliver upon strategic category objectives.
- Assist in delivery of category sales & profit metrics.
- Provide reporting and weekly analysis on category promotions.
- Regularly review category performance data with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and brief major category campaigns, along with key supplier funded activities.
- Partner with Pinnacle on a customer plan that grows market share and step changes customer knowledge for these brands.
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient on time delivery of products/execution of promotions and delivery of core business priorities.
- Engage and inspire the team, seeking out ways to improve, with positive actions and behaviours.
**About You**
You will have strong organisational, communication and prioritisation skills with previous experience in promotions management in a multi-channel buying environment preferred.
You’ll also have:
- Proven delivery of a P&L, understanding what drives this.
- Understanding of channel management strategies.
- Extensive experience working with suppliers and stakeholders to achieve joint business goals and outcomes.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to negotiate and support in commercial conversations.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.
- Knowledge and experience in the world of Drinks is desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in business and/or marketing is preferred.
