**About the role**

Our team have been through a period of change and are now working on designing and delivering a suite of L&OD initiatives across the organisation. It’s an exciting time to join the team In this role you will be reporting directly to the Head of Organisational Development & Capability and you will work across all levels in the organisation with stakeholders across the leadership team to the frontline workforce.

You will be responsible for building organisational capability, a learning culture and creating an engaging employee learning experience to support the City of Parramatta in delivering to our strategic plans. You will own and lead a portfolio of programs and activities which will include scoping, research, analysis, instructional design, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of these initiatives and programs. You will be responsible for contributing to the development of the L&D Strategy and leading programs and initiatives across employee development, compliance and technical training and career pathway programs.

**About You**

This role will suit an experienced but hands-on L&D expert with a drive for results and passion for change

To be successful, you will bring at least 5 years’ experience in an L&OD function and can demonstrate your skills in scoping, designing, delivering and implementing learning initiatives. Additionally, you will be:

- Degree qualified, or working towards this, in Adult Education/ Organisational Psychology/ Organisational Development/ similar
- Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs, develop strategies, instructional design and facilitation of blended learning solutions
- Proven ability to collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to inform solutions that address business requirements and deliver long term value
- Desire and ability to lead learning initiatives and projects as well as be hands on in the design and delivery of solutions
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrate your excellent communication skills with stakeholders, both internal and external and at all levels of our organisation
