**Description**: As an IT Release and Environment Manager you will plan, coordinate, and execute software releases, ensuring that all deliverables are successfully deployed to production environments according to the release schedule. Develop and maintain release management policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Manage software development and testing environments, ensuring their stability, availability, and integrity throughout the release lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**: Your Duties will include and not be limited to: - Collaborate with stakeholders to define release scope, objectives, and priorities, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to streamline release processes, including version control, branching, and merging strategies and DevOps tooling. - Facilitate communication and coordination between various teams involved in the release process, including developers, testers, project managers, and business stakeholders. - Monitor release progress, track issues, and proactively address any bottlenecks or challenges that arise during the release cycle. - Continuously improve release management practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
**Mandatory Skills & Experience**: Mandatory Skills and Experience: - Proven experience in software release management, preferably in an enterprise environment. - Strong understanding of environment management principles and practices. - Proficiency in utilizing release management tools, version control systems, and deployment automation tools. - Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. - Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple releases concurrently. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Desirable - Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management concepts is desirable. - Certification in release management or related fields (e.g., ITIL, Agile) is a plus.
