**Overview**:
**Requirements**:
AUSTRAC is seeking a quality assurance (QA) tester to test the AUSTRAC customer relationship management solution (CRM) and CASE system.

**The QA tester will be required to**:

- Develop test strategies and plans in line with project deliverables.
- Development and execution of test cases against the test plan using JIRA X-Ray tool.
- Work collaboratively with business analysts and engineers to describe testable business features and co-ordinate testing of features.
- Platform testing of UIs and APIs.
- Take ownership of the bug creation and triage process.
- Support Product teams with UAT processes.
- Provide quality assurance sign off for each release, identifying testing coverage, gaps and other potential risks.
- Develop test summary reports and articulate for project deliverables.
- Understand agile methodologies such as Scrum and assist with the management of the backlog.
- Assist with the documentation and development of new features by working with business analysts, end users, and developers.
- Work with business analysts and engineers to ensure test environments and test data are available when required.

**Outcomes will include**:

- Test plan & Test summary reports
- Scripting of test cases & test suites
- Execution of test cases for all environments
- Test results preparation for walkthroughs
- Bug creation & triage process
- Testing documentation

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $457.47 - $900.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
