WoodLinks State School is a growing school community of 850 students from diverse backgrounds. Our staff members are a mix of people new to their professions and experienced people, but with the bulk of teachers being in the early stages of their careers.
**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the school department.
The successful applicant will have the wonderful opportunity to build upon our significant work in enriching the outcomes of our people. Central to this will be: the coaching and mentoring of teachers engaging with student learning data, assessing the implications and then work with people to enhance curriculum and pedagogy planning for and enacting change theory as we engage with Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum working with teams of teachers to plan curriculum and to write assessments of learning and contributing to the life of the school community.
