**About Them**
A leading multi-national manufacturing organisation with a portfolio of leading brands, with an extensive operational footprint across the region.

**About the Role**
The Safety Manager provides expert support and advice as an SME on all occupational health and safety matters for the teams based across the facility.

The role leads and builds the capability of managers, supervisors, and team leaders so that the regional strategy and management system are implemented and embedded. The role is also responsible for determining key safety risk areas specific to their areas of responsibility in addition to regional strategy, and for developing safety improvement plans for these areas relating to site-specific key risks.

This role is responsible for ensuring the implementation of strategic initiatives, building the safety culture as a valued member of the Leadership Team and maintaining accountability for safety.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in OHS or a related discipline.
- 5 years + of safety experience in a manufacturing, supply chain or other heavy industry environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Safety Management Systems
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work on a variety of projects with a results orientation and good problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence people at all levels of the organization.
