**Passionate "Events & Office Administrator" Wanted**
- Turn your passion for events into an exciting & rewarding career
- Work in a positive environment and receive world-class training
- Expand your network and work closely with globally recognised experts
Are you someone that has a diverse range of skills in the areas of planning events, administration and operations? And are you someone that loves a challenge (even a little pressure) and wants to work at a company that makes a real difference to the lives of thousands of people every year? If so, keep reading
Dale Beaumont, a best-selling author and award-winning entrepreneur, is looking for a passionate "Events and Office Administrator" to assist him with the ongoing expansion of Business Blueprint® - a leading training company helping small business owners across Australia and New Zealand.
The successful applicant will need:
- Previous experience in the area organising events and operations
- A passion for organising things and a healthy respect for administration
- A personality that loves a challenge and thrives under pressure
- An upbeat personality and a desire to ensure everyone has a good time
- An eagerness to pick up the phone and build relationships with contacts
- The ability to compare quotes then negotiate with venues and suppliers
- A willingness to travel 3-4 times per year to attend events across Australia
- A character that prefers to stick at something, rather than career hop
- Loads of initiative and the ability to speak up when you see a better way
With Business Blueprint® committed to helping as many people as possible, the successful applicant will be trained in our event, administration, and operational activities. Then they will be supported by our leadership team to achieve great results.
The day-to-day tasks you will need to complete are diverse, so you will need to be well organised, flexible, able to multi-task, and a very quick learner. The upside is you will be constantly stimulated and as a result, you'll find better ways of doing things.
Some of the responsibilities and daily tasks of a successful applicant will include:
- Prioritising and completing set admin and operational tasks in a timely manner
- Organising all aspects of our national & international events from start to end
- Liaising with venues and dealing with dozens of moving parts that go into events
- Booking flights, accommodation and creating itineraries for our team members
- Ordering and organising office supplies, plus sending gifts and hampers
- Contacting clients if needed then resolve issues and update client notes
- Reporting directly our GM and updating them on the status of tasks and projects
- Stepping up to take on new tasks and attending company events when required
Worth noting, Business Blueprint® regularly runs events featuring some of the most successful business owners and entrepreneurs in the country. So, as part of your role, you’ll be given a complimentary annual membership to Business Blueprint®, which is valued at $14,995. This means you’ll be receiving world-class training, which will develop your sales and business skills even further and dramatically expand your personal network.
In terms of your salary package, it will be between $70,000-$80,000 (inclusive of Super) and this will be reviewed after 12-months and increased, based on your performance.
Added benefits are that you will be escaping the city-bound trudge and the traffic that goes with it. Instead, you will be working in Warriewood, perched in the heart of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. With a B-Line bus stop 60 seconds walk from our building, we are close to public transport. Plus, we're also 2 minutes drive (8 min walk) to Warriewood Beach and a large Shopping Centre.

To prove you have read this brief and you have the attention to detail we are looking for, please send a personalised (non-generic) cover letter starting with the words "Howdy Team" and your resume to us. Plus, feel free to include anything else that displays your various experience and talents.
We look forward to hearing from you...
