We are a boutique law firm seeking a Casual Office Admin / Legal Assistant to join our growing team for 3 days per week, working a minimum of 4 hours per day (with flexibility for additional hours during busier periods). This role would suit someone with prior corporate or legal administration experience who is returning to the workforce, juggling other commitments, or simply looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in legal administration or corporate administration. Australian work rights are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Support the firm across daily office administration and legal support tasks, including:

File and matter management (electronic and hard copy)

Reception duties – greeting clients, answering phones, managing enquiries

Liaising with clients, law firms, agents, and stakeholders

Filing, scanning, photocopying, and managing incoming/outgoing mail

Opening and closing matters using LEAP (training provided if required)

Assisting with invoicing and basic accounts administration

Coordinating office and kitchen supplies, and general facilities support

Assisting with office organisation and occasional firm events

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced – ideally 3+ years in office administration (legal experience or LEAP knowledge is an advantage but not essential)

Professional and client-focused with excellent verbal and written communication

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills

Confident in using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

A proactive team player with a positive "can-do" attitude

Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
