**About the role**:

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Table Service: Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Take orders accurately, answer questions about the menu, and provide suggestions to enhance the dining experience.
- Beverage Service: Demonstrate skill in the restaurant's beverage offerings, including wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
- Food Service: Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is delivered to tables in a timely and consistent manner.
- Skilfully engage guests in conversation
- Guest Satisfaction: Engage with guests throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all guest feedback is handled with care, escalating any complex issues to the appropriate management.
- Cleanliness and Setup: Maintain a clean and organized dining area at all times, including tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.
- Assist with table setup and preparations to ensure the restaurant is ready for service.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure a smooth and seamless dining experience for guests.
- Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, following all relevant health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for both guests and colleagues.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in an event setting is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and composed demeanour.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to upholding the restaurant's values and standards.

**Join Our Team**:
Please note this is an EVENT staff position, so rostering is based on our event calendar. This would suit an team member who is looking for additional hours to an already existing position

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $30.32 per hour
