Exciting opportunity to join the second largest municipality in Melbourne’s metropolitan west. Located about 20 kms from the central business district Brimbank City Council is culturally diverse. We are currently seeking a part-time professional to join our team Services Access. The Services Access Officer is responsible for being the first point of contact for providing families and the community with seamless access to universal early years services and the intake services. The position will support access to services and provide targeted information about early years services and Ageing and Inclusion. The position will also participate in the promotion of service access and supporting referrals for families to appropriate programs and services. **The role**
Reporting to Coordinator Service Access (Business & Systems), we are seeking a professional who can bring skills and experience for:

- Provide efficient, reliable and professional customer service for universal early years services and ageing inclusion
- Provide professional telephone-based services to assist families and the community to understand and navigate early years services and intake services, including a high level of internal customer service
- Promote and support the delivery of early years outreach programs and provide support to children’s events and early years projects as required
- Support the development and review of administrative systems, program manuals, policies and procedures related to service data, monitoring and reporting
- Work positively and cohesively in a team environment

**About you**
To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Local government experience is desirable
- Certificate lll in Office Administration or similar and/or equivalent 5 years administrative/business experience
- Knowledge of early years services including Kindergarten, Maternal and Child Health services, Ageing and Inclusion and other relevant services
- Ability to speak a community language is desirable.
