At Mining Plus. we are expanding our Melbourne office and are seeking highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultants to join our **Surface** Mining, **Underground** Mining,** Geology**, and** Corporate Advisory** **teams (multiple roles).

Mining Plus is a leading mining consultancy, providing due diligence, corporate advisory, ESG, decarbonisation, mining studies, geological and engineering support to a wide range of clients across the world.

We are expanding our caving capabilities, our East Coast surface mining team, and our geological capability, particularly in the Green Minerals space.

These roles will require a suitably qualified professional, with a wealth of industry experience and the ability to assist in growing our business and our people into the future.

**Core Functions of the role (dependent on specialty);**
- Providing expert professional advice to our vast range of clients, locally, nationally, and globally
- Acting as a mentor for our more aspiring team members
- Building brand awareness within the industry, particularly within Victoria and East Coast Australia region
- Interdepartmental Global Collaboration to provide world-class service to our clients
- Management of large-scale projects and studies
- CP/QP sign off of Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve Estimates
- Performance of independent Technical Reviews or Expert Reports

**Key Requirements**:

- 15+ years of mining experience with the relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
- Regionally based in the greater Melbourne region
- Established industry networks (wide network, well regarded and able to liaise directly with clients)
- Demonstrated client and team management skills (for larger projects and studies)
- Familiarity with mining industry software packages
- Able to work autonomously, generate work and manage time independently
- Project management experience of high-value projects/teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and are legally entitled to live and work in Australia
