**Your Role**

Joining the Underwritten Lines Product Management team, you’ll own the development of the end-to-end operational plan for holistic product management of individual products and whole product classes, bringing to life the Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) product strategy.

You role will ensure our products remain fit for purpose as well as the monitoring of the performance against financial, customer growth and retention targets. You’ll influence and drive the direction of the strategy and vision for our products as well as influences the design, development and the configuration of individual products and whole product classes (brand-agnostic). Overall, this role has a high degree of impact on the entire insurance value chain.

**About You**
- In-depth and thorough knowledge of/experience in Product Management or product specific roles in a complex, large scale insurer or financial services organisation, preferably working with broadform liability, financial lines, ISR or construction and engineering products.
- Understanding of product pricing, underwriting and assurance principles including ability to engage technical SMEs on relevant pertinent product challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of quantitative insurance product (performance) metrices, tools, and basic strategic interpretation capabilities
- Understanding of Financial Services Regulatory landscape, including Risk, Legal & Compliance, and regulatory issues
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and integrate input from various operational areas (i.e. Pricing, Underwriting, Portfolio, Distribution etc.) into the management of products and entire product classes
- Strong commercial acumen, looking to balance the drive for improvement with recognition of stakeholder needs and external regulators
- Relevant Tertiary qualification/s or other qualifications in related fields - Finance, Insurance, Law
