**About the role**:
Based in Erskine Park and part of the Front Office team, this role reports to the Head of Key Account Managers, drives initiatives, implements technical strategies, negotiates and supports the growth of Luxury Fashion vertical to maintain customer satisfaction and exceed customer expectations.
**What you will be doing**:
- Key Account Management
- Respond to customer queries and when required escalate to relevant stakeholders
- Provide net and sell rates
- Review feedback from meetings and customer surveys to make amendments that ensure customer satisfaction
- Be responsible for financial performance by being an escalation point for commercial performance from assigned Key Accounts
- Propose and develop customer and network data reporting
- Monitor track & trace reporting and database for shipment status whilst updating the operational team
- Update and process working instructions, SOP’s and procedures to offices and network based on customer meetings & reviews
- Create and present monthly and quarterly Customer Business Reviews
- Inform customs and stakeholders of developments by being attuned to the latest market and industry trends
- Perform data and statistical analysis
- Identify trends and areas of improvement
- Submit statistics and reports to relevant stakeholders
- Client management
- Assist in developing and maintaining existing relationships with appointed clients
- Share best practice knowledge and support the growth of the Luxury vertical
- Liaise and negotiate with clients on agreements and scope of work to be beneficial for all parties involved.
- Drive initiatives to deliver a consistent and high level of quality service
- Implement technical strategies that create and support business growth and enhance customer experience
- Exceed customer expectations and maintain customer satisfaction through optimising transport and logistics requirements
- Ensure project objectives within budget
- Operational control & support
- Work across multiple functions with operations staff to achieve desired customer outcome
- Ensure suppliers adhere to requirements to maintain customer satisfaction
- Process freight solutions to clients and meet their KPI
- Update operational procedures regularly and assist in creating new procedures
- Support in training programs
- Business Development
- Identify development opportunities within assigned Key Accounts
- Find new trade lanes and products, create activities that add value and drive improvement and opportunities
- Utilise the CRM system to find new luxury opportunities
- Send sales leads to Bollore Logistics network and lobby Key Accounts
- Conduct a minimum of 10 calls per month to new or existing opportunities
- Lead tender process and collaborate with regional tender management to submit tenders
- Transfer contracts to Operations to ensure customer quality of service is met
- Report sales actions through CRM with weekly activities
- Financial Control
- Process tariffs to the customer and relevant internal stakeholders
- Support budgets with accurate forecasting
- Monitor customer profitability with no leakages
**Requirements**:
Essential:
- Experience managing Key Accounts, ideally minimum four years in a Senior Customer Service role or two years in a Key Account role
- Experience in sales or business development
- Understands Quality Management processes
- Experience dealing with time-sensitive products
- Comprehensive warehouse & logistics experience
- Comprehensive freight forwarding experience
Desirable:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide value-added business solutions and alternatives
- Understanding of the luxury fashion industry is an added advantage
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Suite and PC
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Goal-oriented, driven and a motivated self-starter
