**About the Role**
certified professional status as a Safety Advisor through work integrated learning, professional practice and
attendance at lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions through a university undergraduate program. This is an
opportunity to be part of a critical team that supports safety and wellbeing in the business.***

**Responsibilities include**:

- maintain academic study commitments and provide periodic updates on progress;
- rotate through the sub-disciplines of health, hygiene, emergency response and rehabilitation;
- participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to meet certified OHS Professional status;
- participate in the AIHS Mentorship Program;
- develop hazard identification and risk assessment skills aligned to the industry sector;
- develop change management, influencing and advocacy skills; and
- conduct AOD, COVID -19 RAT testing or biological monitoring as required;
- progression towards a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Health Science majoring in Health & Safety.
- high-level written and verbal communication skills;
- knowledge of relevant WHS legislation; and
- working knowledge of MS Office programs.
