**Role Description/Criteria**

We are seeking a passionate 0.6 FTE teacher of Visual Arts. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. This role is for Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a day to be negotiated. The position commences on Tuesday 23rd May or earlier by negotiation. Graduates are also welcome to apply.

The role and responsibility of the 0.6 FTE Visual Arts teacher is to:

- Teach a Visual Arts program according to the Victorian Curriculum.
- Organise systematic assessment of student's Visual Arts skill and development
- Assess, analyse, document, monitor and track student progress
- Design a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater to individual learning needs.
- Use contemporary learning tools to engage students in the learning

In addition, successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

- commitment to the ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture

**Special Requirements**
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
