The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to lead the VIC/TAS/SA Visual Merchandising team. As the Southern Visual Merchandising Manager you will lead a team to execute high quality windows implementation and in-store merchandising across all VIC/TAS/SA retail stores in line with brand standards. Reporting directly to the National Visual Merchandise Manager you will thrive on the challenge of managing a team whilst directly impacting and influencing delivery and adherence to VM standards. This position is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the business, including the Retail management and store teams. Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the state teams to ensure all windows, promotions and interior creative are dressed to brand standard and according to the VM documents.
- Assist Regional VM and store management teams in merchandising their stores in accordance with VM guidelines taking into account individual store layout and profile.
- Provide training and development to direct reports so that they can be effective in their roles.
- Motivate and inspire your team to drive results, execute VM to a high standard and encourage collaboration with the retail teams.
- Proven leadership experience within a VM environment, apparel experience required
- Proven ability to coach and manage a team
- Strong attention to detail, communication and time management skills
- Proven ability to interpret the VM direction and make commercial decisions
- An acute sense of personal style and presentation paralleled with strong business acumen
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to build meaningful relationships easily with stakeholders across the business
- Hold a current drivers licence and be able to travel between stores as required
