**Position Information**:
Croydon Public School, founded in 1884, is located in a well-established residential area in Sydney's inner west. The school caters for 620 students with 64% from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Our school has an inclusive and vibrant learning environment, focused on meeting the broad needs of students by providing quality, differentiated teaching and learning programs that educate the whole child. Information and communication technologies are integrated contextually in all classrooms. **Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary;
- Approval to teach K - 6 with the capacity to work as part of an executive team and effectively manage the dual role of Assistant Principal and classroom teacher.
- An approachable and collaborative leader with the demonstrated ability to mentor and inspire teachers of varying experience to improve students' literacy and numeracy outcomes through evidence-based and data-informed practices.
- Proven ability to lead collaborative co-teaching and innovative teaching practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated capacity to build positive and inclusive relationships with students, staff and parents.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning- 6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies**Conditions**:
