**Job Description: Support Worker Need2Heal Pty Ltd**

**Position Title**: Support Worker
**Location**: Melbourne CBD - main locations we are currently hiring for are Keilor, Glenroy and Brunswick.

Glenroy shifts are Daily
- 7.30-9.30am

Keilor Wednesday and Thursday
- 9.30am-1.30pm

Brusnwick Thursday and Friday 11am-2pm.
**Employment Type**: casual
**Salary Range**: $37-$42 an hour casual + $0.54 First aid allowance

**Overview**:
The Support Worker role plays a key role in providing high-quality care and support services to our clients. In this **casual** role, you will be providing essential in-home and community-based supports to participants living with a range of disabilities in the **Melbourne**area. This is an important position that will have a direct impact on the wellbeing and independence of our clients.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and grooming
- Helping clients with meal preparation, housekeeping, and running errands
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Social and Group outings
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and client care plans

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience in a similar **aged care** or **disability support** role
- Certificate IV in Disability, Aged Care, Community Services, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have worked with non-verbal clients
- Compassionate and patient approach when working with vulnerable clients
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
- Current First Aid certification, NDIS Clearance and Working with Children Check
- Driver's License.
- Must be available to work mornings, afternoons and weekends.
- Must be able to work with individuals with disabilities of all needs, including complex needs and intellectual disabilities.

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week

Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week

- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
