**The Position**

**St John of God Murdoch Hospital **is is one of the leading health campuses in Western Australia and a major health care hub serving the Southern region. At present, we have multiple opportunities for experienced
- **Security Officers **to join our Security Department.
- As a
- **Security Officer **with SJGHC Murdoch, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive security service and a safe and secure environment for all caregivers, patients and visitors of the hospital. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining traffic and parking control at the hospital site, in accordance with Murdoch Hospital directives.
- If you have experience working in a Health Care or similar environment with training and experience in de-escalation and aggression management we could love to hear from you To be considered, Applicants must have a Security Officer License (WA) and a minimum of 3 years security experience.
- These positions are being offered on a casual basis, working a variety of day and/or night shifts over 7-day rostered work week.
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Demonstrated effective communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including completion of reports.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace safety including WH&S.
- Working knowledge of fire panels, detection equipment, electronic access systems and CCTV systems.
- Security Officer License (WA)
- Minimun of 3 years security experience
