About Our Client:
Our client operates a specialised rehabilitation facility for women in custody, focused on recovery from alcohol and drug dependency. The program offers a safe, structured environment with counselling, life skills training, and support aimed at long-term behavioural change and successful reintegration into the community.
What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the prison's stores, including receiving, storing, and distributing a wide range of goods, materials, and food supplies. You'll ensure all stock is accurately recorded, safely stored, and efficiently distributed to support both operational needs and prisoner entitlements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will coordinate timely deliveries, assist with regular stocktakes, and maintain compliance with safety and security protocols. The role also involves operating a forklift and manual handling equipment, as well as ensuring all tasks are completed in line with OH&S standards and prison procedures.
What You Will Need:
- Current Western Australian driver's license (C Class)
- Current forklift licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to safely lift and carry items up to 20kg.
