**About the Role**
They are currently seeking multiple experienced Administration & Customer Support Officers to join their team in Wollongong with the flexibility to work remotely from home. You will commence working onsite 5 days per week for 2-3 weeks to undergo training and then transition to only working in the office 3 days per fortnight This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to deliver professional and empathetic customer service to vulnerable clients and their families to assist in the coordination of free specialised transportation services providing equal opportunity. This is a highly busy role with lots of room for over-time
**Responsibilities**
- Capture, process and lodge accurately customer information into the system
- Verify and assess the validity of information, determining eligibility
- Deliver professional and empathetic customer service
- Respond to tasks and issues in a high-volume fast paced environment
- Facilitate the resolution of issues, problems and complaints
- Provide information and educate customers on Departments services
- Support the delivery of customer focused logistics services to vulnerable clients
- Distribution of electronic and hard copy mail
- Preparation of documentation and reports
- Extracting data, generating multiple spreadsheets and reports including transport run creation
- Records and database management in TRIM, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
**About You**
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Exceptional typing skills and efficiency
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft exposure, MS Office suite and TRIM
- Flexibility and willingness to work additional hours when required
- Ability to attend the Wollongong daily for the training period and then 3 days per fortnight afterwards

**Requirements**:
- Demonstrated Administration or Office support experience
- High volume data processing experience
- Previous experience working with vulnerable clients advantageous
- Reliable remote internet access with the ability to work remotely from home
- Valid Working With Children’s Check and undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
