**Description**:
About the Customer Service and Facilities Officer position
The Customer Service and Facilities Officer supports the CRCS Customer Service team and the Facilities Coordinator to effectively manage facilities and ICT equipment/assets across CRCS sites.
The incumbent will also undertake administrative and customer service such as venue/room hire, maintenance, phones, site access passes/keys, equipment allocation and tracking, archives and other similar duties.
In addition, the position also assists in work health and safety duties including emergency response responsibilities (i.e., Chief Warden) and undertakes other administrative duties including reception duties, point of sale, phone calls, information provision, opening/closing reception duties, record-keeping and database use.
This is a full time ongoing position based at Belconnen Community Centre, ACT.
**Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following**:
Assist the Facilities Coordinator to effectively manage and administer:
facilities, assets and ICT equipment and their respective systems
maintenance requests and preventative maintenance schedules
contractor induction and oversight
security arrangements and access allocation to employees, contractors and hirers
internal room bookings
external venue hire including bump-in/bump-out and maintaining associated documentation
Ensure timely provision of facilities and maintenance duties.
Maintain accurate documentation for room bookings/venue hire.
Maintain and effectively utilize facilities and reception systems so data and information is current, complete and accurate.
Liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers and delivery people to support efficient service delivery.
Meets all legislated Work Health and Safety requirements and obligations related to this role and assigned safety roles (i.e., Chief Fire Warden).
**Additional requirements for the role**:
This role may at times be required to work outside of regular business hours to support the delivery of events and programs.
Current driver license and use of a roadworthy, registered, comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes.
Certificate III or II in Office Administration or equivalent or working towards a qualification or extensive work experience
CRCS employees must hold a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration and have this with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
CRCS employees are required to undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or performing the inherent requirements of their position.
CRCS may require the incumbent to undertake employment screening such as a medical assessment, functional assessment or psychological profile prior to an offer of employment and/or as determined by CRCS during employment.
