**Wine Customer Assistant | Dan Murphy’s - Lane Cove Cellar**

A good story always starts with a touch of experience, curiosity and imagination. This is paramount to what we look for in our wine customer experience teams.

We look for people with a passion and understanding of wine, a sense of adventure and a curious mindset where your curiosity of wine will be paramount to your success in this role. Your main focus is to guide your customers on their journey to drink better, as they discover the world of wine, spirits and beer.

We have an exciting new opportunity located in Lane Cove for natural storytellers who would love to use their knowledge of wine to work in our new format store - Dan Murphy's Cellar. The Cellar will offer a dynamic and carefully curated range of relevant and interesting premium wines, craft & premium spirits and selected beers. You will have the opportunity to share your love for products with our customers.

**The role**:

- Have a passion and understanding of wine and build your own Dan Murphy's story
- A commitment to delivering meaningful in-store experiences
- A continued commitment in expanding your product knowledge in Wine and Liquor
- Ensuring courage in challenging the status quo within the store teams
- Ensuring all team members are supported in demonstrating a positive customer first mindset

**About you**:

- Knowledgeable about wine, with knowledge in spirits and beer also well regarded
- Passionate about customer service
- An excellent communicator
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude

**About Dan Murphy's**

In 1952, an ambitious and plucky upstart opened a liquor store to rival his father's. You might have heard of him. His name was Daniel Francis Murphy, and he did things a little differently. Dan launched Australia's first wine club, threw storied social events and introduced his guests to exciting wines from all over the world. But above all, he believed in offering his customers the best experience and the biggest range at the lowest price. That's a promise we keep to this day in over 250 Dan Murphy's stores Australia-wide.
