**About my client**

My client has over 30 years within rail, civil, heritage and education sector within construction with continuous strong pipelines of projects. They have a flat structured organisation with an open door policy in a family oriented culture.

**The Position**

I am currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Foreman to oversee construction projects. As a Site Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the construction team to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the work of the construction team, including subcontractors
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and organize the work
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment to the job site
- Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
- Resolve construction problems and recommend changes to plans and specifications when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, timesheets, and material usage
- Train and mentor new construction team members

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
