Our client is a leading East coast property group who have close to $10bil of projects to be delivered across high rise resi, mixed use, commercial and retaill and due to this growth they have an immediate requirement for multiple finishes foreman to work across major Sydney projects ranging from 10 level mixed use to 45 level hotel/retail projects.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be expected to hit the ground running and keep up with the programming and scheduling of the project.

You will lead and push the teams on site and will be responsible for keeping up with the schedule of the finishes program.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Take the lead role in the day-to-day management of on-site safety, including monitoring of site safety Run the on-site budget and business processes relating to labour, overtime, small tools and hire equipment.
- Manage the day-to-day site activity in-accordance with the programme and comply with business systems Manage the day-to-day activity of subcontractors and site labour to the project plan and project documentation Ensure a high level of communication and teamwork through direct communications and on-site meetings.
- Consistently achieve and assist sub-contractors in their obligations to meet a high quality of workmanship

Skills and Experience Required:

- Trade background - Carpenter
- Have major Finishes experience
- High Rise Residential, commercial or retail experience from a tier 1,2 or 3 head contractor on large scale projects.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Finishes Foreman on large scale projects
- Have excellent people management skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Be a team player
