Lead the talent acquisition team.

PSP are exclusively recruiting a Talent Acquisition Team Leader (Band 7) position on behalf of the Melton City Council.

Reporting directly to the Work Performance Coordinator, the role sits within People and Culture, in the Chief Executive Office Directorate. The positions key objectives include:

- Lead the talent acquisition team and oversee the delivery of the talent activities for both internally and externally sourced positions.
- Provide reporting on talent pipelines and key recruitment data such a time to advertise and time to fill.
- Ensure the talent acquisition team works with a view to continuance improvement of user and employee experience.
- Responsible for delivery of talent activities identified in the Workforce Plan, Gender Equality Action Plan and Transformation Strategy.

Essential Skills and Experience required:

- Qualifications in human resources, psychology or business with some Talent Acquisition experience or lesser qualifications with significant experience working in a similar role and organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality reports, present training and information sessions and communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a talent acquisition team to achieve set objectives.
- Experience in monitoring, evaluating, reporting and continuously improving work practices relating to an organisation-wide process.
- Demonstrated experience working within diverse communities and organisations.
- Public Sector probity checks apply.

Remuneration refers to Local Government - Band 7. Shortlisting for the role will take place ideally during the last week of June.
