**Who are we?** Here2Thrive was founded in 2019 by our director, Ivy Dellas. Here2Thrive began with a goal to create a supportive space for support workers and participants, a space where all individuals would be heard, prioritised and treated in a holistic and compassionate way. Here2Thrive celebrates uniqueness, diversity and individuality. We are a team of individuals, who provide support with heart and soul. We embrace and support every individual with their own needs, qualities and goals and we are dedicated to providing both a person centred and strength-based approach to empower those individuals to thrive every single day. Our **vision **is for all individuals to live a life of their own choosing where they are valued, respected and included as equal citizens. Our **mission **is to provide quality, individualised support that will assist to empower individuals to thrive in all aspects of their lives. Our support services are offered all around Melbourne but our main area of services are in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. **Expanding our team**: We are searching for experienced and passionate **Disability and Mental Health** **Support Workers **who are confident and experienced in providing both disability and mental health related supports. We are looking for individuals who have a variety of experience, personal and/or professional, with both adults and children. It is highly desirable for our support workers to have experienced a range of support needs, including complex and behavioural support needs. Although we will provide ongoing training and professional development, our support worker applicants should already have qualifications and/or extensive experience within the field of Disability/Mental health. **Here2Thrive support workers must**: - Have an individualised approach for every participant they support - Take initiative and be creative in their work - Support their participant(s) to reach their outlined goals - Have excellent communication with participants, representatives and their circle of support - Have excellent communication with Here2Thrive management - Have excellent time management skills - Complete brief notes at the end of every support shift to enable insight into the service progress/goal tracking - Have qualifications/training related to the field of Disability/Mental health - Have current First Aid and CPR certificates or be willing to complete them prior to commencing - Have both current Police/Working with children checks - Have an NDIS Worker Screening Check - Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Quality Safety and You) or be willing to complete it prior to commencing - Have a current Victorian Drivers Licence with comprehensive insurance and be willing to use your vehicle to provide transport (travel reimbursements included) - Applicants must have the right to work in Australia_ **Why work with us?** - We listen to you - we value your time and rights as an employee - We offer competitive rates of pay - We are flexible and will work with you depending on your individual circumstances - We are compassionate and caring and want you to feel safe and valued in the workplace at all times - We are available for you, when you need us - We want you to thrive in your career and we will support you with guidance, training and professional development - We have platforms where our support workers can communicate, support, connect and relate to one another **Testimonials**: - "In the time I’ve been with Here2Thrive, I’ve never felt more respected, appreciated and understood by an employer.
