Located in Glebe in the Inner West, our hydraulic (plumbing & fire) consultancy business specialises in forensic engineering, remedial management and expert witness legal assessments, and our small team of highly experienced consultants is looking for a versatile, go to person that will assist administration staff with the office running.

The role is varied with responsibilities ranging from assisting administration staff with general office management, accounts receivable and employee coordination and support. Some of the tasks you might be doing include:

- Liaising with insurance and strata companies, tradespeople and other project stakeholders to coordinate inspections (juggling dates, availability, access to sites etc.);
- Research background information to assist in assessment and report preparation;
- Coordinate and assist with production of detailed reports, photographic reports, sketch plans or fee proposals and control the quality of final products;
- Invoicing, and general accounts receivable and payable through Xero.

Working with a small team, you will truly be the support for anything we need. In return, work anywhere from 2 to 5 days per week, being flexible days/hours to suit your lifestyle, with a great, down to earth, realistic and inclusive team.

For you to easily fit this role within our growing hydraulic consultancy team, it would be preferable to have the following experience and expertise.
- Ability to coordinate, plan, prioritise, multitask, whilst being adaptable;
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, in particular Word, Excel, and Outlook (experience with Microsoft Project and Blue Beam would also be beneficial);
- Experience using Xero, particularly invoicing, will be highly regarded, but not essential;
- Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal), with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to rephrase / proof documents accurately;
- Past experience working as an Office Assistant, Personnel Assistant or Office Manager will be highly regarded, but not essential;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
