With this growth comes new roles and those rare opportunities to help shape company culture and contribute to lasting change. **About the role** The Planner is responsible for overall planning for bulk earthworks and roads. The role required, working with the Project Controls Manager and Planners is integral to developing accurate and realistic construction programs, methodology of progress measurements, and the tracking/updating of programs to enable the construction team and management to review the project status, taking appropriate measures to improve project performance. - Ability to prepare meaningful plans and schedules that articulates the project execution strategies and methodologies (with visual aids such as bar charts, histograms and time chainage diagrams) - Develop, administer and update the WBS System in line with the cost breakdown system - Setting up QMR for quantity/man hours tracking and calculating Productivity Factors (PF) at detailed levels - Coordinate project reporting, provide support for intermediate planning and scheduling for baseline, resources, and progress tracking needs. - Understanding and ability to interpret Engineering drawings and Engineering schedules - Ability to review actual status of works and forecast the labour, technical, equipment and material demands - Analyse scope changes and schedule trends and recommend actions or alternate execution options to improve schedule or mitigate delays. - Identify project risk throughout all phases of the Project and monitor/ recommend risk mitigations Your work becomes more meaningful when it’s part of something bigger than you.
