Compliance Manager- Hybrid

Experian's Compliance function will play an important role in this journey, supporting the business to manage regulatory risks and opportunities in a way that benefits our colleagues, our customers and our communities.
Compliance are responsible for advising Experian colleagues on our regulatory obligations (mainly relating to data privacy, financial services regulation, and corporate ethics regulation such as Whistleblowing and Modern Slavery) and supporting the business to understand, implement and meet them accordingly.
**What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian**
Essential experience:
- Working in an advisory, assurance or audit role, in the field of regulatory compliance (at least 3 years);
- Performing risk assessments and advising internal stakeholders on remediation;
- Performing impact analysis on changes to regulations and leading regulatory change delivery; and
- Preparing high-quality compliance reporting for internal stakeholders
Desirable:
A good working knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand Privacy regulation;
**Work that matters - What you'll be doing**
The Compliance Manager's primary responsibility will be to lead the effective day-to-day operation of Experian's Compliance Management Programme in A/NZ. Specifically, this will include:
- Supporting and advising the business on the reporting, investigation and remediation of identified compliance risks and issues, including matters relating to risk acceptance;
- Leading the practical implementation of new or updated Compliance-owned policies and standards;
- Leading the Compliance team's input to Experian's Third Party Risk Management and Client Due Diligence activities, for example, review of cases escalated by 1LOD colleagues;
- Advising the business on compliance risks arising during product development, recommending mitigating actions where needed and monitoring their progress in a timely manner; and
- Supporting the Head of Compliance & Privacy A/NZ and Legal colleagues as needed on regulatory engagement matters (for example through collation and review of relevant documents).
