Retail Supervisor

**Magic Hand Car Wash**, Australia’s best-rated Car Wash, is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

**About the role**

We're seeking an experienced leader from related service industries such as fast food, retail, or ideally, car washes, to join our Car Wash network of over 22 locations.

Our supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, including ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales in our retail store. You will lead a team, monitor inventory levels, and maintain store appearance to uphold our brand standards.

**Here are some of the things you’ll be doing in the role**:

- Manage New staff training
- Managing operations on a shift basis
- Ensuring customers receive prompt and quality service
- Working alongside your team members in the driveway to understand their individual skill sets and skill gaps, providing regular on-the-job feedback and training as per our One Magic Way (our processes and ways of working unique to our brand that deliver a high quality clean every single time)
- Responding to customers' inquiries and complaints
- Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties
- Championing and delivering on our customer journey
- Taking inventory of goods and ordering new stock
- Ensuring safety and security procedures are enforced
- Operating the business safely. Site maintenance, including staying on top of equipment condition and presentation
- Having fun Sure, washing cars is physically challenging, but it should be fun, and we want all of our teams to enjoy the work they do.
- Our car wash sites are open 7 days a week so availability to work weekends as well as throughout the week is a must.

**What makes a great Outlet supervisor at Magic?**

At Magic, Supervisors must possess a deep understanding of people—both their teams and customers. They should dedicate themselves to comprehending their needs and implementing effective solutions to meet, and ideally exceed, expectations.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 1 year of experience managing teams in real-time / on shift within structured systems. This could include roles in fast food, service industries, or large retail settings with teams exceeding 5 members.
- Proven experience as a Retail Supervisor or similar role in a retail environment.
- leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of retail operations and merchandising techniques.
- AQF Certificate II or III.
- Experience with managing KPI and business goals
- Applicants without any experience in our industry will need to do some pre-training before management training to learn what “good” looks like on the driveway.

Pay: $74,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
