**About Our Role**

At Godfrey Hirst, we currently have an exciting full time permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic operator to join our sample making operation at our Breakwater site (Fellmongers Road).

Breakwater houses the production of our carpet tile and sampling departments. As part of this role, you will learn our manufacturing processes and machinery to assist us in producing high quality samples, made from our expertly crafted Australian made carpet.

Working from 7:00am to 3:00pm (38-hour week with an RDO once a month), you will be cutting, binding, labelling, and assembling our samples with our machinery.

Extensive on the job training and instruction is provided.

Generous EBA rates and conditions apply.

Ideally you will have experience in a manufacturing environment, be a team player and have an eye for detail. You’ll be physically fit, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and have basic computer skills.

Overlocking/binding experience will be looked upon favourably.

As it is ‘Safety First with Godfrey Hirst’, you will maintain high standards in relation to safe work practices and your duties.
