Job Title: Labourer / Production Operator
Location: Breakwater, Geelong VIC
Employment Type: Full-Time Casual
About the Role
We're running a new project producing organic materials that are shipped to New Zealand to help improve oxygen levels in the ocean. The materials are manufactured, cut, and prepared at our Geelong facility using specialised machines (training provided) before being exported to Dunedin, NZ.
This is the pilot stage of the project (around 1/10th of its future size). If all goes well, production is expected to expand significantly next year — offering opportunities for ongoing work and growth.
Duties
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery (training provided).
- Cut, process, and package organic materials.
- Assist with general labouring and warehouse tasks.
- Load, stack, and prepare shipments.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
Requirements
- Previous labouring or factory experience preferred, but not essential.
- Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks and lifting.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.
- Able to work well in a small team environment.
- Willingness to learn new processes.
