HSBC’s Investment Service provides high-net-worth client’s access to expert guidance and service for a range of products including bonds, ETFs, Structured Products and Managed Funds. The HSBC Investments Specialist will be responsible for providing qualified high-net-worth clients’ access to this unique service. You will own the relationship with clients, helping to fulfil their investment needs and proactively service them as their dedicated wealth management relationship within HSBC.

This role represents an opportunity to joining a growing business that is focusing on rapidly expanding its wealth management business across Asia. You will join a fast paced results-oriented team presenting substantial learning and growth opportunities. The Markets Desk works closely together with our local and global teams in Australia, Hong Kong and London with our expansive global client footprint.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Utilise your understanding of markets and investment products to have in-depth and robust conversations with clients
- Assist clients to uncover suitable investment opportunities and engage them to help the launch of new investment tranches and IPOs
- Manage HNW clients with an emphasis on knowing clients and understanding their investment needs and providing solutions.
- Engage in daily client interactions by phone or in person to discuss our investments platform, product range, markets and offer solutions
- Follow economic, international finance, equity markets, fixed income and international news events. Research and share the information to internal and external clients
- Act with courageous integrity and uphold the integrity of markets

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Relevant experience in an investment or financial markets role
- Experience in dealing with a broad range of products including bonds, ETFs, Structured Products and Managed Funds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with customers in a highly efficient and effective manner
- The ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- High Attention to detail and good investigation skills
- The ability to respond to difficult situations constructively and with empathy
