**The Role**

As an Investment Specialist for Multi Asset Investments reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in propelling growth and maintaining funds under management (FUM) across our investment suite of muti asset products and investment offerings via financial advisers. This is a business development and sales role that will have you collaborating with stakeholders and focussing on working with financial adviser businesses across the industry. The role of an Investment Specialist - Multi Asset Investments is to develop and manage relationships with the delivery of education and industry best practice in relation to outsourced investment philosophy and implementation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Grow FUM and flows into MLC Asset Management's multi-asset solutions, including our awarding winning managed account solutions, and contributing to the overall success of our business meeting its objectives.
- Engage with the financial advice market at industry and financial practice advice levels representing MLC Asset Management directly through adviser engagements and attendance at appropriate PD days, conferences, and events.
- Engage with advisers around relevant discussions including adviser focussed business solutions for investments, fund updates, market insights, investment philosophies, and other tools to assist them in interactions with their clients and/or investment process.
- Sales planning for effective panel management and active targeting of new advisers including business planning, 90-day plans, growth and execution of a relevant sales pipeline.
- Advocate for and represent our multi-asset solutions (internally and externally) amplifying the voice of our investment team.
- Support the strategic accounts team with sales and investment activities pertaining to our key national strategic accounts.
- Proactively contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive advisory solutions culture through collaboration and teamwork.
- Actively be involved in sales campaigns driven through the Advisory Solutions way and Ecosystem.

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:

- Passion for Business Development
- Ability to build relationships at all levels and gain trust quickly
- Extensive Multi Asset Investments and/or adviser experience with a proven track record in the distribution of adviser related products or services
- Compliance with RG146 regulatory standards
- Relevant degree qualification advantageous
