
Marketing Coordinator

**Job Overview**
This role is an entry position based in Melbourne, Australia, reporting directly to Virgo Group's Head of Marketing as well as Head of Australia. It is an important position that will help with the group's effort in acquiring new retail users, seek partnerships and search for possible on-ground sponsorship opportunities, while also provide critical data analyses and initiate creative ideas to assist with the overall platform growth in user base and trading volume.
Canadidate is expected to be a creative individual with a can-do attitude and a bright mind for analyzing data. You are expected to be a self-starter who can operate without much supervision. You love process, are disciplined and think big.
**Responsibilities**:
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
- Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
- Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
- Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
- Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
- Expand and develop marketing platforms including social media platforms
- Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
- Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
- Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
- Create marketing presentations, liaise with media and advertising
- Compose and post online content on social media channels
- Build and maintain Virgo community
- Occasional travel may be required
**Requirements**:
- BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
- Minimum 1 year experience in web3 or crypto industry or possess great knowledge of such
- Experience with marketing automation and performance tool and workflow systems including but not limited to Hubspot, Braze, Iterable, Salesforce, Wrike, etc.
- Has great love for tech and fundamental understanding of key technical terms and flow, such as API, next.js, bot crawls, etc.
- Knowledge with multimedia tools such as Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Analytical mind with no fear to challenge the typical and conventional
- Expert experience with Google Analytics and other tools such as Similarweb and Chainalysis
- Deep knowledge in working with excels and love to crunch numbers to pump out analysis
- Must be detail-oriented with keen mind to weed out even the smallest punctuation mistake
- Loves to think ahead and be creative within a sandbox environment
- Loves to write content with an acute and unique angle
- Possess great knowledge of community building and engagement within the web3 space
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
