We are seeking passionate and qualified Diploma-level Childhood Educators to join the team and take a leading role in shaping children’s early experiences—with opportunities for career growth.
**Role Overview**:
As a Diploma-qualified Childhood Educator, you will lead the planning and delivery of high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). You will mentor and support fellow educators, build meaningful relationships with children and families, and uphold the highest standards of care and education. This role also offers a clear pathway to progress into a 2IC (Second-in-Charge) position, with tailored training and professional development opportunities provided to support your career advancement.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the design, planning, and implementation of curriculum and learning programs that foster children’s development, creativity, and well-being.
- Mentor and support team members, including Certificate III educators, to maintain quality educational outcomes.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families to support engagement and positive communication.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning progress, preparing individualized learning plans to support diverse needs.
- Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS), regulatory requirements, and centre policies.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to prepare for potential progression to 2IC.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certification.
- Genuine passion for nurturing young children’s growth and development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
**Career Progression**:
This role is designed for educators looking to grow their career. With supported training and mentorship, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a 2IC leadership role within the centre.
