Our technology practices have been growing steadily over the last few years across Development (AEM and Salesforce), DevOps and Quality.
Building mature technology practices is very important to RACV and we are looking for bright, hardworking and enthusiastic team members to join the team to help us achieve our delivery roadmap and strengthen our capabilities.
**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Head of Salesforce & Integration, the Salesforce Technical Lead will enable and inspire multiple Squads to pursue its mission, by guiding them on 'how' work should be completed by the squad and ‘why’.

You’re a people leader. You will support the development team through psychological safety in critical thinking and holding them to a high standard with regard to development best practices; always striking the pragmatic balance between technical excellence, delivery effort, time, cost and debt.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Work closely with all core stakeholders (including implementation partners, software vendors, etc) to enable smooth and rapid uplift of our current capabilities
- Create professional development plans (technical and non technical skills) for direct reports
- Ensure that all members of the development community including contractors adhere to development best practices and standards.
- A hands-on leader, you will work closely with drive technical designs, contribute code and deliver as well as using your quality focused pragmatic approach to mentor others in the team.
- Review key decisions with other technical leads to get wider alignment across the teams.
- Align to RACV solution, enterprise, data, information and security architecture guidelines and policies.
- Own the technical decisions and foster critical assessment of all solutions including your own - seeking to achieve the best outcome through diversity of thought and experience.

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- 5+ years Salesforce/CRM experience in enterprise environments
- 5-10 years’ experience in software development
- Previous experience as a lead developer will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated expertise in object orientated programming
- Demonstrated expertise in GIT version control systems
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Certified Platform App Builder
- Certified Administrator
- Certification in at least one domain (e.g. Service Cloud or Experience Cloud Consultant)
- Salesforce Platform Developer II will be highly regarded
- Certified Application/System Architect will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence will be highly regarded
- CPQ experience will be highly regarded
- Financial Force or ERP experience will be highly regarded
- Certified Scrum Master will be highly regarded
