**Overview of the role**

The is a unique opportunity within the Innovation Team which is responsible for exploring opportunities and fostering innovation at Suncorp group level for immediate innovation needs as well as long term innovation establishment. This team works closely with the strategy team and plays a key role in influencing group wide strategic direction for future products and services.

Reporting to the Innovation Manager Studio you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of major innovation programs, events, workshops and experiments, including the mentoring of hackathon participants. You will have exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, a natural curiosity, and are eager to explore the unknown and demonstrate a growth mindset.

**What you’ll do**:

- Drive the UX/UI design in the Group Innovation Team. Work collaboratively with CX Specialists and Technical Lead to define and design user experiences for digital interfaces.
- Prepare research materials for UX testing (including test plans, research protocols, requirement screeners and moderator guides).
- Collate and synthesise research finding into working prototypes and designs.
- Work with business stakeholders and developers to realise the potential of digital solutions and transfer propositions back into the business.
- Keep up to date with methods of UX/UI testing and industry best practice.

**What you’ll bring**:

- 3+ years’ experience as a UX/UI designer with demonstrated experience designing digital user experiences (apps, mobile, website, voice and virtual assistants)
- Proven experience implementing human-centred design (CCD/UXD/LSU) principles, process and practices, understanding of HCD, Design research, Journey Mapping, Usability Testing, workshop facilitation, Interaction Design and User Interface Design.
- Strong understanding of Agile program and project dynamics for Test & Learn and POC.
- Wire-framing/Prototyping, and User Testing experience
- Visual communication and storytelling experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing various stakeholders in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- A highly collaborative team attitude with superior interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
