**About the role**

As the Finance Reporting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the company's financial reporting processes. This full-time role is based in our Brendale, Queensland office and is responsible for the preparation and analysis of key financial statements and management reports.

**What you'll be doing**
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Assist with the month-end close process and the reconciliation of accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Support the preparation of regulatory and compliance reports
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required

**What we're looking for**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
- At least 2 years' experience in a financial reporting or analysis role, preferably within the manufacturer accounting and finance industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in the use of financial reporting and analysis software, such as Excel and financial management systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Pay: $53,468.43 - $100,000.00 per year
