About the role
If you are an enthusiastic, positive and practical individual with the ability to coordinate and connect across multiple stakeholders, navigate complex environments across government and community sector and can deliver outcomes effectively and consistently, then the Sector Lead, Family Violence may be the role you are looking for. The incumbent will need to have an understanding of the nature and dynamics of family violence and expertise in Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework and Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVIS). The role sits with the Community and Engagement team, Consumer Affairs Victoria, in the Department of Government Services and is designed to support an effective system wide, consistent approach to the assessment and management of family violence risk, working with prescribed agencies to embed MARAM and FVIS into operations and procedures.

**In this role, you will**:

- proactively build and maintain positive relationships with key external stakeholders, strategic partners and other business units across Departments to facilitate MARAM alignment including representation on external forums
- provide organisational and practice change support so that MARAM prescribed workforces can confidently assess and manage family violence risk
- prepare project implementation plans, quarterly reporting (and other reporting as needed) and annual progress report on MARAM implementation and alignment
- facilitate and manage family violence capacity and capability building
- ensure a family violence lens is applied to programs and services.

About you
- demonstrated understanding of the nature and dynamics of family violence and expertise in the areas of FVISS and MARAM (risk assessment, risk management and information sharing)
- demonstrated experience in training and contract management (desirable)
- proven ability to collect and analyse evidence to demonstrate how actions and outcomes constructively impact Departmental ability to deliver or facilitate the delivery of effective services
- ability to provide practice leadership and authoritative advice to contracted Health Service Providers and other providers as appropriate on MARAM implementation and alignment, based on sound family violence risk assessment and management practice expertise
- ability to support community agencies to develop and implement operational policy and procedures that are clear and provide guidance to staff in operational environments
- strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify opportunities to work with other teams to deliver outcomes.

Upon commencement of employment with the department you will be required to provide evidence that you have an up-to-date vaccination status within the timelines specified by the department into the DJCS Service Portal. This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).

- COVID-19 digital certificate or ATAGI exemption certificate (available via your myGov account)
- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
