**Position Description: Finance Officer**

**Role Overview**:
**As a Finance Officer** reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support day-to-day finance administration duties. Your responsibilities will encompass various financial functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, regulatory reporting, and client fund management.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable functions. Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

**Payroll Processing**:
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Handle associated regulatory reporting, including payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation, and Portable Long Service Leave.

**Portable Long Service Leave**:
Submit Portable Long Service Leave as required.

Month-end and Year-end Reporting:
Assist in month-end reconciliations and reporting.

Contribute to year-end reconciliation and reporting processes.

**NDIS Fund Management**:
Manage end-to-end client NDIS funding.

**Support and Projects**:
Assist the Finance Manager and leadership team with ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Address aged receivables, claims, and queries.

**Key Requirements**:
**Experience**:
**Education**:
Diploma of Accounting (or equivalent qualification).

Previous experience in finance officer/finance administration roles.

**Technical Skills**:
Advanced computer skills, including Xero and MS Office Suite.

Familiarity with Cloud Payroll (desirable).

Experience using CRM systems, such as CareLink (desirable).

NDIS experience is highly desirable.

Numeracy and Organization:
**Excellent numeracy skills.**

Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete work within established deadlines.

Maintain a consistent level of professionalism.

**Salary**: $75,000 to $85,000 per year + superannuation
