We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager with a strong background in business management, preferably in capital markets-, finance
- and media-related sectors, to lead our team, and drive the growth and success of our company. As the General Manager reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations, with a specific focus on Business Development strategy and operational performance.

**About the Role**

In this role you will
- Implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive growth.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to all departments, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Mentor and manage the business development team to achieve set goals, foster collaboration, and maintain high performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to capitalize on growth potential.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that motivates employees to excel.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage budgets related to business activities.
- Provide regular updates, reports and presentations to senior leadership.
- Communicate progress, achievements, challenges and proposed solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions.
- Demonstrated operational and people leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of business operations and management
- Excellent work ethic, communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to see the big picture and lead strategic vision for business growth.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and objectives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Capital Markets knowledge (specifically micro/small cap business environment) are considered valuable assets.

This is a full-time position based in Perth CBD.

**Compensation includes base salary + superannuation + uncapped commission structure.**
