About the Role

Reporting to the President, the General Manager – Electrical Construction will establish and lead all aspects of the new Construction division, including:

Defining the division's strategy, processes, and culture

Leading divisional operations across multiple industries and projects

Managing presales, tenders, proposals, contracts, and project negotiations

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering value and technical expertise

Leading, mentoring, and developing the Construction team, fostering a high-performance culture

Ensuring compliance with WHSE systems, legislative requirements, and company standards

Maintaining the business's Electrical Licence requirements and technical governance

About You

  • Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade Licence (Business/Commerce qualifications desirable)
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • 7–10 years' experience executing, supervising, or managing electrical projects and teams in mineral processing, materials handling, petrochemical, or energy sectors
  • 5+ years' experience in business management, including financial oversight, team leadership, and business planning
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage change, motivate teams, and drive operational excellence
  • Knowledge of ISO9001/QA processes, AS Standards, and WHSE principles
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and commercial awareness
